Abstract

The intermolecular scattering function of liquid phosphorous tribromide is studied under isobaric condition at 295 K in a range of the scattering parameter, 5.0 < κ [nm−1l < 60. A striking resemblance is found with results reported on liquid SbCl3. The intermolecular scattering function is tabulated in this paper. The liquid structure of PBr3 can not be described very well by the RISM, similar to SbCl3.
