Abstract

Abstract The 8-hydroxyquinolin-1-ium 4-aminobenzenesulfonate salt was synthesized, and characterized with many spectroscopies techniques. Time resolved of thermal lens signals were recorded as function to the sample concentrations and the input pump power. In order to calculate thermal lens signal parameters at high input power, we have applied a new modified Shen's model. Our experimental results enable us to calculate the thermal lens signal parameters, such as θ1, θconv, dn/dT, h, D, tc and td.
