Abstract
The minimum temperature margin of the JT-60SA CS coil in the standard (pulsed) operation scenario, with 5.5 MA plasma current and 75 s flattop, is computed using the state-of-the-art 4C code for different values of the coupling time constant n τ. The margin is >1 K, provided n τ < 130 ms.
