Abstract

Many technological processes in industry occur at the temperature of the surrounding medium, which changes by some specified law. In connection with this, the theory of thermal explosion under dynamic conditions has achieved practical importance. In [1, 2] thermal self-ignition was studied for linear heating only, which narrows the applicability of the theory to actual industrial devices. The present study will analyze thermal explosion for the model of an infinite cylinder with exponential change in temperature at the external boundary.
