Abstract

42CrMo4 steel is a widely used high-strength alloy steel in various large-bearing manufacturing fields. The rheological stress curve of 42CrMo4 steel with the best heat treatment scheme was obtained through the thermal compression experiment. A mathematical model was established using the hyperbolic sine function to relate deformation temperature, strain rate, and flow stress during thermoplastic deformation. The flow stress curves of 42CrMo4 alloy steel show typical dynamic recovery and recrystallization characteristics.
