Abstract

1. The thermal decomposition kinetics of urea perchlorate, investigated from the rate of heat release in a microcalorimeter, are represented by a first-order kinetic equation. 2. The rate of thermal decomposition of mixtures [(NH2)2COH]ClO4-(NH2)2CO in a melt is significantly higher than that of the pure compound, owing to the crucial role of preliminary dissociation into the initial base and acid.
