Abstract

In complex plasma, asymmetric ion flow toward the sheath gives rise to a well-known attractive oscillatory wake potential. In this paper, an investigation of effect of ion flow-induced wake potential on thermal conductivity and shear viscosity in strongly coupled complex plasmas has been reported for the first time. Green-Kubo formalism along with Langevin dynamics simulation has been used to estimate the thermal conductivity and the shear viscosity of strongly coupled dust fluid in the presence of external magnetic field and attractive wake potential superimposed with repulsive Debye-Huckel potential for a wide range of the Coulomb coupling parameter (Γ), the screening parameter (k), the neutral pressure (n n ), and the magnetic field B.
