Abstract

We report additional measurements and analysis of the temperature dependence of the thermal conductivity of helium in the region just above the lambda point. The data were obtained using a cell with a gap that was varied over the range from .12 to .73 mm. The full range of the data was from about 1 mK below to 1 mK above the transition. Here we discuss the data above the transition, where an apparent boundary effect is seen, in series with the bulk conductivity.
