Abstract
Recently, the power semiconductor devices for higher voltage and higher current capability are developed. The thermal behavior analysis for improvement of these devices is very important.There is an apparent hot spot in semiconductor devices, particularly when current is concentrated in a small area of semiconductor device.This paper describes important information for the thermal behavior analysis of thyristors under operation.
