Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper presents the results of an experimental study of the thermohydraulical performances of compacts heat exchangers. Two types of fins were chosen for this work, offset-strip fin and perforated. Experimental data are compared with previously reported models or correlations. A numerical study has also been carried out and the obtained friction factor and Colburn factor are compared to experimental data.
