Abstract
Results of investigation are presented for an experimental convective-heat-transfer unit and the aerodynamic resistance of tube banks formed from three types of bimetallic finned tubes (BFT). It is demonstrated that the most important indicators of the thermotechnical efficiency of BFT are the thermal contact resistance (TCR) and its variation with increasing temperature. We were the first to determine the TCR during a rise and fall in the temperature of a steel bearing tube.
