Abstract

The present article is intended to explore the steady flow of Williamson fluid in a micro-channel accompanying with viscous dissipation, magnetic effect and Joule dissipation. The convective peripheral conditions are implemented at the boundaries. The equations which govern the physical phenomenon are drawn from Williamson fluid model. The predominant equations are made dimensionless using nondimensional variables and then it is solved by using Finite Element Method. A substantial decrease in fluid temperature is determined when higher values of Biot number. The results explores that magnetic effect has the tendency to enhance the Bejan number.
