Abstract

A New Zealand white rabbit was presented with clinical signs of pruritus, alopecia, white crusty lesion on the upper lip, ear pinnae, around the eye and also on the nose. Skin scrapping examination revealed the infestations of Psoroptes cuniculi mites. Subcutaneous injection of ivermectin at weekly intervals for three weeks resulted in remission of clinical signs and improvement of health condition.
