Abstract

Background: Avicularin were found to be present in the Lindera erythrocarpa, Rhododendron schlipenbachii and Psidium guajava. Anti-inflammatory agents are those substance basically used for the treatment and eradication of inflammation or swelling. Objective: Various scientific databases and literature sources have been searched to collect the needed information of avicularin for their biological importance against chronic inflammatory disorders and Hepatic complications. Method: In the present investigation, effect of avicularin on various model of inflammation was studied through databases analysis. Scientific data’s have been evaluated statistically for their protective role in liver disorders through various experimental models. Avicularin has been considered as a potent anti-inflammatory agent. So in the present study molecular docking analysis was performed through various scientific research databases to know the interaction of avicularin with interleukin and tumor necrosis factor alpha binding sites for the development of better drug against liver inflammatory disorders. Result: Database analysis revealed significant effect against numerous inflammatory disorders. Molecular docking study database analysis revealed the importance of avicularin in the various form of inflammatory disorders. Further scientific research databases analysis also revealed that avicularin have significant interaction with TNF-alpha as it showed minimum energy with the enzyme ligand interaction which supports the molecular mechanism for their anti-inflammatory properties. From the data analysis, avicularin showed anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant activities which are the main parameter for the treatment of inflammatory disorders of the liver. Conclusion: Present work describes the importance of avicularin and their efficacy in chronic inflammatory disorders of Hepatic system.
