Abstract
ConclusionsFour patients with Addisonian pernicious anemia in relapse and one patient with nutritional macrocytic anemia were treated with aureomycin given orally, with definite although submaximal hematological improvement. A fifth patient with Addisonian pernicious anemia was treated with aureomycin given intravenously with no response.We are indebted to Mrs. Helen Jakubowski for performing the blood examinations.
