Abstract

Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of relaxation therapy combined with Yongquan acupoint sticking in the treatment of refractory insomnia and its effect on sleep quality. Methods A total of 114 cases of patients with refractory insomnia who were treated in this hospital from May 2016 to December 2017 were selected as the subjects of this study. According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into control group and study group, 57 cases of each group. Patients in the control group received Yongquan acupoint sticking treatment, while patients in the study group received relaxation therapy combined with Yongquan acupoint sticking treatment. The therapeutic effects of the two groups of patients and the changes in mental health and sleep quality before and after treatment were compared. Results The total effective rate in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05). After treatment, the PSQI score of sleep quality in both groups was lower than that before treatment, and that in the study group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions Relaxation therapy combined with Yongquan point sticking has a significant effect in treating refractory insomnia, which can effectively improve the mental health level of patients and improve the sleep quality of patients, which is worthy of promotion.
