Many diseases are known to be associated with central nervous system such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD), Parkinson’s disease (PD), Huntington’s disease (HD), multiple sclerosis (MS), and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease) and occur as a result of neurodegenerative processes
A particular emphasis has been given to the articles dealing with neuroprotective effect of eastern herbal medicines used in China, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, and India
