Abstract

Schuh's [1] theory of steady laminar flow above a line heat source in a fluid with Pr = 0.7 is extended to fluids such as heavy oils. The solution is valid for all fluids of high Prandtl number, regardless of whether the viscosity is temperature-dependent or not.
