Abstract
We have developed a formula of the d.c. Josephson current in d-wave superconductor/insulator/normal metal/insulator/ d-wave superconductor ( d/ I/ n/ I/ d junctions. This formula is an extended version of our recent formula of d.c. Josephson current in d/ I/ d junctions. The existence of the mid gap states strongly influences the current phase relation and the temperature dependencies of the Josephson current.
