Abstract

Using the scattering theory for superconductive tunneling systems, we formulate a theory for the dc current in a superconducting junction with unconventional anisotropic pairing symmetry. We find that the phase anisotropy of the unconventional superconductor has important effects on the quasi-particle dc tunneling current, leading to an effective phase-anisotropy-dependent order parameter and a strong abnormal current peak in the subgap structure of the tunneling current.
