Abstract

The theory of collective motion in liquids has been modified by taking into account the correlation which is absent in Hubbard and Beeby's theory (1969). The present theory goes beyond the generalized mean-field approximation, satisfies the first three sum rules of S(k, omega ) and gives consistent improved results.
