Theory of charge-imbalance relaxation in anisotropic heavy-fermion superconductors.

Abstract

Model calculations presented here show that a novel nonequilibrium tunneling technique involving quasiparticle charge imbalance may be able to shed considerable light on the nature and origin of anisotropy in the order parameter of heavy-fermion superconductors. The technique may also provide a direct probe of the interplay of inelastic scattering and superconductivity in ${\mathrm{UBe}}_{13}$. .AE
