Abstract

The posing of the problem of branched photochemical reactions in the presence of many quasi-resonant energy levels of combining subsystems is considered. It is shown that a common energy level for the reactant molecule and the products of its photochemical transformations can be introduced and a wave packet that allows for the description of the kinetics of the process can be formed in this general case as well. The general conclusions are illustrated by practical examples.
