Abstract
The correlation between an electronic absorption of a molecule and the intensity and line shape of resonance coherent Antistokes Raman spectroscopy is given on the base of transform theory, The inherent informations for molecules and examples concerning the investigation of excited states and transient molecules are listed. Limitations caused by optical inhomogeneous samples are discussed.
