Abstract

As one of the important assemblies of off-road vehicles, the anti-skid performance of differential is closely related to the passability of the whole vehicle. Based on the analysis of the power distribution characteristics of ordinary bevel gear differential, this paper studies the anti-slip principle of variable transmission ratio differential theoretically through mechanical analysis and working process analysis. The variation of adhesion coefficient between tire and pavement is analyzed, and the reasonable value of locking coefficient is obtained.
