Abstract

Resonances and three-body recombination in low-energy collisions of three identical bosons are studied theoretically using hyperspherical coordinates. Two different methods are used and compared calculating positions and widths of three-body resonances: the complex absorbing potential and the eigenchannel R-matrix approaches. Good agreement between results of the two approaches is found. Cross section and rate coefficient for dimer formation in three-body recombination are obtained.
