Abstract

The forming process of cylindrical tubular blanks with heating of the wrought material, which is due to its mechanical characteristics is considered. Algorithm for developing of process model, which makes it possible to assess the crimping pressure and the continuity of the material is presented. The dependences of the effect of the main parameters on the crimping pressure and the continuity of the material are plotted. Secondary mathematical models are obtained to assess the pressure of the process under study. The die tooling is designed and recommendations are developed for the implementation of the titanium alloys crimping technology.
