Abstract

The purpose of the present work is to interpret the negative parity bands observed in neutron-rich 99Sr, 101Zr and 103Mo nuclei in the framework of Projected Shell Model(PSM). In the present study, the results are obtained for the energy spectrum, transition energies, band diagrams and reduced transition probabilities ratios i.e., B(M1)/B(E2) ratios. Besides this, it is also found from the calculated results that the yrast spectra do not arise from single particle configuration only, but it has multi-quasiparticle structure.
