Abstract

Abstract Using an ab initio configuration interaction (CI) treatment, the He trimer interaction energy for the equilateral triangular configuration was calculated. The CI included all single and double electronic excitations (SD CI). The resulting three-body component was significantly larger than the third-order perturbation calculation.
