Abstract

The proposed model analyzed the contribution of primary and secondary electrons to the formation of singlet-excited molecules; the recombination of positive ions of molecules with electrons and negative ions; and the energy transfer from excited and charged particles of an inert gas. The model considered the attenuation of singlet-excited states of molecules by collisions with secondary electrons (stepwise excitation), excited and charged particles of an inert gas, and the absorption of fluorescence. Calculations were made for perylene molecules. The model and the rate coefficients are listed for elementary processes.
