Abstract

A new full analytically formulation of standard entropies of solid metals, for the first time, has been constructed by the use of the integer and non-integer n-dimensional Debye functions. Using n-dimensional Debye functions is one of the most used approach that provides more accurate and reliable results for determining thermophysical properties of solids. Our approximation is valid for arbitrary values of low to melting temperature. We have compared our calculation results with available literature data for some solid metals. As can be seen from comparisons our approximation is satisfactory.
