Abstract

In this work, theoretical study of laser induced plasma spectral emission has been developed. A model based on equilibrium equations has been proposed for the computation of the plasma composition; species densities evolution and excited levels population in the plasma induced on MgCl2-NaCl aqueous solution, are presented alongside temperature range 6000-20 000K. Maximums of excited levels population have been found at distinct temperatures for magnesium and sodium lines. This study has clarified the temperature dependence of the plasma spectral emission.
