Abstract

AbstractCrystal growth by diffusion process in a gel medium has been utilized for a long time as method of simulation processes in the laboratory. The suitable theory of crystal growth in gels has been developed. Attention has been made mainly to the more general case in which the counter‐diffusion of two reacting substances occurs. The implications are discussed.
