Abstract

We consider lepton flavour violation (LFV) in the charged lepton sector both from the bottom-up effective Lagrangian approach and from the top-down approach via various case studies that have been analysed. The implications for LFV studies at the LHC is briefly discussed. Finally the nature of LFV in the neutrino sector is considered, paying particular regard to the implications of the recent measurements of θ 13.
