Abstract

The scientific and theoretical framework for the natural and drinking water biotesting is provided. The structure of biotesting procedure in general and methodological approaches to the evaluation of low polluted water quality in particular was studied. The definitions for biotesting process are given and physicochemical factors having influence on the biotests results are described. The examples of positive experience of using integrated biotesting for natural and drinking water are provided.
