Abstract

A technique for calculating the EMP response of complex networks of coaxially shielded cables has been demonstrated for a generic system. A circuit code was employed at the systems level, but parameters used in the circuit code were determined and verified both by a more elaborate theoretical cable response code and by scaled experimental measurements. Details of the system level circuit code development are presented along with comparisons between the calculated and experimental responses.
