Abstract

The study is focused on the air conditioning of the building by the floor cooling system. The floor cooling system works on the same principle as the heating floor principle. But the cooling floor absorbs calories instead of emitting them. However for the air conditioning of the building, the water running from the distribution network must be at a temperature lower than of the air room temperature. This study is going to allow us to know how the thermal energy will behave on the floor and on the room environment once submitted to the thermal excitements. The used cover parameters and its nature, the thickness of the floor, the number of mesh and the debit of water circulating in pipes are taken into main consideration. In order to reduce the number of equations and to facilitate the system of equations to be solved easily, we have used the thermal electric analogy for the modeling of the constituent elements of the building and the cooling floor system. In order to verify and validate the theoretical results, experimental work in the laboratory of air conditioning technology at the technical University of Applied Sciences THM (Giessen). The supply chilled water temperature and the return chilled water temperature of the hydraulic module 2, the air room temperature and the floor surface temperature is achieved. Besides, the out flow of hydraulic module 2 as well as the evolution of the air speed in the experimental chamber is pointed out.
