Abstract

Analytical, numerical, and experimental investigations of the output power of a generator are performed on a virtual cathode under the effect of an external harmonic signal. It is shown theoretically that an increase in the power of the external effect leads to an increase in the output power of a nonautonomous oscillator. The results from our theoretical analysis are in good agreement with the results from a pilot study.
