Abstract

In this paper, theoretical formulas for packet success rate (PSR) performance on three-mode based on-demand WSN are derived, considering delay fluctuation of packets arrival timing. For both baseband and carrier models, theoretical calculation results are well fitted with computer simulation results. It is found that the PSR in the carrier model deteriorates significantly. Even though PSR for no fluctuation achieves 1, for $E_{b}/N_{0}$ is 10 [dB] and the packet arrival timing fluctuation is uniformly distributed between -0.1 and +0.1 chip, the PSR is 0.3.
