Abstract
The theoretical simulations related to fiber loop ring down spectroscopy (FLRDS) has been carried out for gas sensing. An analogy between optical system and the equivalent electrical circuit is depicted to simulate the response of the gas sensing system. In the second part, a set up for Carbon dioxide sensing mechanism is proposed using FLRDS.
