Abstract

This paper introduces hydraulic active filtering method. At first a physical model of hydraulic active filter is definitized, from which the mathematical model of active filtering pipe line system is derived. Then digital simulations of this system are made successfully using characteristic line method which is increasingly used in engineering. After the work, experimental research is made on hydaulic active filtering system. As the best result, pressure pulsation reduction of 40. 84 dB is obtained in open loop control test system while only 12 dB in closed loop control test system in condition of a lack of system correction. This paper discusses that test control plans, output signal's phase and amplitude of actuator, pulsation's frequencies and installation locations of actuator have influences upon pulsation damping effect. In the end, common laws of hydraulic active filtering method are primely summed up and usage principles of the method are put forward.
