Abstract

The intermittency and volatility of wind power and the characteristics of the operating mode of cogeneration units pose certain challenges to the wind power consumption of the power grid. To optimize the performance of the power and heat combined operation system and maximize the wind power consumption, this paper establishes a mathematical model for each component of the cogeneration system, including the thermal dynamic characteristics of the heat network, buildings, cogeneration units, electric boiler, and heat storage tank. At the same time, a scheduling optimization model is proposed, which considers the power load demand, and wind power output of the regional heating system. The research results provide insights and optimal dispatching strategies for ensuring the reliable operation of the power system and heating system and realizing the efficient utilization of wind power. This paper verifies the effectiveness and feasibility of optimizing the cogeneration system and provides a practical solution to the challenge of cogeneration economics.
