Abstract

This article discusses the use of the same hitherto unnoticed textual variant of the Ps.-Augustinian Dialogus Quaestionum (CPPM 2A.151) by Theodulf of Orléans and Haimo of Auxerre. The implications of this discovery and the different uses the two authors made of the Ps.-Augustinian text are explored briefly and a transcription of the passage from Haimo’s commentary to 2. Corinthians where he quotes the Ps.-Augustinian treatise is presented in an appendix.
