Abstract

The Theatre Monologues is a special section of this issue, where theatre practitioners from various countries reflect on what Jewish theatre is all about. These monologues aim to explore the personal creative connection both to Jewish cultural heritage and to the present of Jewish culture. The artistic worlds of the authors of this section are different from one another, and all the more interesting. Their texts testify and at the same time analyze, revealing a multiplicity of searches essential to further deliberation.
