Abstract

The paper presents the results of research on a unique Zlota culture niche grave discovered at site 30 in Świecica, Sandomierz district. The construction of the grave, as well as its inventory, bears multiple traces that could be linked to the tradition of the Globular Amphora culture. The structure, dated to the 1st half of the 3rd millennium BC, presents a rare example of funerary rituals using animal remains in the Zlota culture, and sheds new light on the processes of origin of this community.
