Abstract
The Word I Wish to Understand Wendy Videlock (bio) THE WORD I WISH TO UNDERSTAND The word I wish to understandis opaque. Its roots derive from its polar state. The buriedor unexamined is not the same as the clean slate. An opal is sometimes real, sometimes fake. One vaguely knowsa thing has changed its shape.I suspect accumulation is what makesan ache. Sometimes alla word can do is break. And wait for something to illuminate.
