Abstract

Janice Hays is an associate professor of English and director of composition at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She has published poetry in small-press magazines and has a book of poetry, New House: A Book of Women, available from Sudden Jungle Press in Colorado Springs. She is co-editor of Wingbone, Poetry From Colorado, an anthology of poetry by Colorado poets, partially funded by the Colorado Council on the Arts and Humanities and published by Sudden Jungle Press. She also publishes scholarly works in composition theory and research and, when time permits, women's literature.
