Abstract

Abstract The effects of differences in the definitions of common wind spectrum and aerodynamic admittance functions on the dynamic response of tall buildings have been studied. Besides, the uncertainties in the parameters that constitute the dynamic along-wind load were identified and their effects on the along-wind response were assessed. Significant deviations were found, due to both differences in representation and uncertainties in the constituting parameters.
