Abstract
The foundation of all human psychological and social understanding must be the inherently unique spirit of every human manifest via the inalienable right of every spirit to pursue its own fulfillment. The inalienable right to self-fulfillment expressed in the social ethic I want what is best for me. Given all people are entitled to pursue their self-interest, it follows self-interest must be moderated by the ethic of workable compromise, where none get all they want, but all gain enough to move forward without festering resentment. In a nation, the ethics become being a good neighbor, with an accepted justice system determining workable compromise where those in conflict could not. As within a nation, so between nations. With governance of nations striving to be good neighbors with all other nations while pursuing the best interests of its citizens. The modern world lacks a credible international court where dispute between nations adjudicated. Between citizens within a nation, the justice system must be separate from politics, and must be accepted as just and impartial. People must have faith their case fairly heard. There is no such court available in international affairs. The United Nations is corrupted by politics to the extent it cannot function in development of jurisprudence between nations. Those nations dedicated to individual freedom need discard the UN and adopt an international court where nations agree to abide by its decision, exactly as citizens agree to abide by the decisions of the court within a nation. Nations committed to freedom of the individual typically have a National Supreme Court shaping jurisprudence within the nation, so there needs to be an International Supreme Court shaping jurisprudence between nations. It should be the avowed purpose of all levels of Supreme Court to lift the life experience of all people impacted by its rulings .
