Abstract
In the first part of this paper the configurational wave functions of photons are discussed for both the Tamm-Dancoff and the Bethe-Salpeter types as well as for the more general type given by Gunther. In the second part the configurational equation corresponding to the Bethe-Salpeter equation is derived for photons. All results obtained in this paper are applicable,mutatis mutandis, to mesons.
